MEDICAL QIGONG AS A TREATMENT MODALITY:
Medical Qigong is an ancient form of Chinese Energetic Medicine that is part of the four branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The objective, in all Traditional Chinese Medicine Practices, is to heal by balancing the energy of an individual. A person throughout their lives is influenced by life choices, nutrition, traumas, emotional characteristics, and level of physical activity that can affect positively or negatively their Qi and electromagnetic energy in their bodies. Since Qi is energy and Gong is cultivation, Medical Qigong aims to correct any energy imbalances, whether is blockage, deficiency, excess, and/or leakage, enabling the body to strengthen and regulate the functions of their organs, nervous system, and immune system, as well as relieving pain, regulating hormones, allowing to release emotion and stress, which contributes to improving the overall well being of an individual.
As a treatment modality, Medical Qigong requires of a Therapist who will evaluate, analyze, design a treatment and give Qigong prescriptions tailored to the individual's specific needs, which involves purging, toning, regulating the patient's Qi using a variety of techniques, physical movements, breathing methods, sound therapy, and mental intention to correct and restore the balance and harmony in the patient's body and life-force.
MEDICAL QIGONG AS A PREVENTIVE MEDICINE:
Spiritual Healing has to do with one's connection with the Divine. This connection exists even before we are manifested into human form. When we are born, we all have a connection with the Divine, but at the moment of birth we start the process of separation from the Divine, and the purpose of our lives is our journey back to God, to the Truth of our essence. The closer we are walking on a path that is in alignment with the Divine Law, the closer our spirits are to experiencing fulfillment of their Divine Purpose. On other hand, if our walking through life takes us farther away from the Divine Law and our soul's purpose, our spirits and beings will experience deterioration, separation, and constriction and that is also Ok. It is part of the path that the individual has to experience to return to GOD.
In a disease process, the Healer and the Healee have to get to the place where the misalignment happened, and in being able to do so Divine light gets through and in doing so transformation, restoration, shifting and healing happens. Since the physical body is held and supported by the energetic body and the energetic body is held and supported by the spiritual body, which is the one controlling our being, the spiritual body is controlling how connected we are to the Divine or not.
The place of disconnection is rooted in our believe system and depending on those believes, we are going to experience separation or closeness to Divine Truth. Then, the purpose of a Spiritual Healing is to help the person recognize the areas where disconnection from the Divine exists, where there are twisted and distorted believes structures, and once that is recognized untwist and realign the belief system with Divine Truth. Once that happens, healing can happen, the issue can be taken from the root and the individual can be realigned with fulfilling their destiny.
Spiritual Healing works on a person's physical ailments, mental ailments, emotional ailments, and spiritual ailments. So, if somebody has anxiety, depression or cancer is very effective, but also it is effective in other areas of a person life, such as: marriage, parenthood, finances, career, relationships, etc. Spiritual Healing will help the person identify the area(s) where there is a distorted or veiled perception or belief system. So, if the person is experiencing an issue with finances, like not making enough money, is because there is a place in that person where there is not enough opening to receiving the Divine's abundance. The same will be the case if the issue is with relationships, the person is not fully open to experiencing Divine love. So, through a Spiritual Healing the individual, will become aware of what created the distortion on the perception and ultimately restore the belief system with the Divine light, which is the DIVINE TRUTH.
As Human Beings, we experience the world in one level and discharge it out the other level. In the process, we engage in various energetic functions: Protection, Assimilation, Incorporation, Discharge, Storage, and Distribution. These are the most relevant functions of the human being. The extraordinary vessels operate on this primordial level, playing out the human experience, while fulfilling all these functions.
In dealing with the functions of Protection, Assimilation, Incorporation, and Discharge the Extraordinary Vessels involved are: YANGWEI, DAI, YINWEI and CHONG. They address the relationship of the Human Being with the external environment and represent the boundaries of the human being, distinguishing it from the external environment. They mainly deal with the harmony with the cosmos.
In regards to the function of Storage and Distribution of yin and yang, the vessels involved are: REN, DU, YINQIAO, and YANGQIAO. They address the relationship between the human being and the internal environment and maintenance of the yin/yang balance. They represent the potentials and accessing potentials within the human experience. They mainly deal with the harmony with one's self.
The Extraordinary Vessels are the hidden reservoirs of yin and yang and qi and blood. They do not generate, they store. The pathways of the extraordinary vessels are more diffuse than the pathways of the twelve regular channels. Unlike the regular channels, the extraordinary vessels have no unidirectional flow, rather, they ebb and flow. They are best envisioned as seas which ebb and flow with high and low tide and the regular channels are like rivers with an unidirectional flow. Each of the extraordinary vessels is treated based on a particular, to that vessel, master point and couple point.
The Practitioner after examining the patient, will establish a treatment protocol, which depending on the symptoms that the person is presenting, the extraordinary vessel or vessels to be treated will be selected. The practitioner will be guided by the person's somatic and non-somatic symptoms to determine which vessels will be treated. As an example, these will be some of the symptoms, that when present, will guide the Practitioner to select a treatment of the YANGWEI vessel.

The Lymphatic system is actually a vital circulatory system with an extensive network of vessels throughout the body. Your body contains about 50% more lymphatic fluid than blood and your lymphatic system contains over 600 collection sites called lymph nodes. These nodes are formed at the junction sites of the lymph vessel network. Your lymphatic system is responsible for supplying plasma rich protein to your blood as well as carrying away toxins and other debris. Your lymphatic system is your primary defense against bacteria, viruses and fungus and primarily responsible for your immune function.
Most chronic disease problems occur at the junction of lymph vessels called lymph nodes. In women, the axillary nodes, located in the armpit, are the primary channels for releasing accumulated lymph from the breasts. Unlike your venous system, your lymphatic system has no pumping mechanism to keep the fluid circulating through the body. Therefore, the lymphatic system is always at a higher risk for blockage. Blockages can occur from normal life stressors such as; illnesses, tight fitting clothing including ties, bras, jockey shorts and pantyhose, lack of exercise, bumps, bruises and other injuries, exposure to heavy metals, pesticides and herbicides, food allergies or sensitivities, and surgery.
An impaired lymphatic system often results in colds, flu and sinus problems, edema and excess water retention, heart disease, fibrocystic and tender breasts, cellulite, enlarged prostate and even cancer. The good news is that lymphatic health can be restored even in cases of severe impairment using our Lymphatic Decongestive Therapy utilizing IGII or in our case the Lymph Drainage XP™ family of instruments.
In our experience, the various manual lymphatic methods available to therapists do a reasonable to good job of opening the surface lymph nodes using a therapeutic technique known as manual lymph drainage developed in Europe 25 years ago. Through delicate massaging techniques it was highly effective at reducing lymph-based disorders, but the process is very labor intensive and oftentimes leaves the client exhausted and sore for days. Thereby, the healing process takes longer.
The Lymph Drainage XP™ (The State of the Art in Electro-sound Lymphatic Drainage Instrumentation) has proven to provide the most effective tool to help stimulate blocked lymph buildup and effectively reduces swelling and edema caused by trapped proteins. Each session is equivalent to eight to ten manual lymphatic drainage sessions. Results are seen, felt, and experienced faster.
WHAT IS ELECTRO-SOUND LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE?
Electro-Lymphatic Drainage is a one-hour accelerated method of cleansing and detoxifying the lymphatic system. In a blocked or congested lymphatic system, lymph fluid is thick, sticky, stagnant, and toxic, which prevents it to circulate and eliminate wastes. Through the use of this therapy, breaking down congested lymph fluid is painlessly achieved in a two-step process using the XP instrument.
BENEFITS OF LYMPHS DRAINAGE THERAPY:
A wide range of practitioners use Lymphatic Drainage therapy, including Medical Doctors, Osteopathic Physicians, Chiropractors, Dentists, Nurses, Physical Therapists, Massage Therapists, and Colon Therapists.
